ERIC BEAUDRY
Editor, Beaudry Filmworks

“The SPOKE team is well organized and thorough — just how this hyper-particular editor likes it!  And that’s how they get so much done while making it look good, which is why I love working with them.”

I began my career like many other kids born in 1984; making stop motion videos from Lego bricks or Star Wars figures, transitioning to Camaro burnouts and fake Hall and Oates music videos.  Remember MiniDV tapes?  I have stacks.

Editing is at the center of my skill set, but I’ve always just called myself a Filmmaker.  Through my varied experiences on productions over the last 16+ years, I’ve added directing, cinematography, motion graphics, visual effects, sound design and mixing, color grading, and photography knowledge (and more) on top of every edit.  My aim is to be a Swiss Army knife of creative video production.

My favorite part of the production process is finally seeing the images and sound – that were just an idea maybe a few months ago – flow together in perfect juxtaposition and harmony on the screen.  It doesn’t matter if it’s a small or large project, it’s thrilling to see your efforts cross the finish line.

Speaking of large projects, I had the opportunity to produce nearly 70 episodes over 4 seasons of a travelling 30 min show called “ESPNU Road Trip”.  So I got that goin’ for me.  You learn a lot running a whole TV show.  And a lot more when it ends.

What am I doing now? Editing amazing projects for the fun folks at Spoke of course!  I’ve had the opportunity to help guide the editorial process for some great projects: Potluck at Rosedale Mall, Rockwool, Tierra Encantada, and the Spoke highlight reel to name a few!
