THE DAMUS BOARD

The Damus Board is a student-run philanthropic program at the University of St. Thomas. This elected board offers students the opportunity to engage in professional activities, consensus decision-making, and collaboration with the ultimate goal of choosing a nonprofit organization to receive grant funding donated to the program. During their term on the board, members work together to learn about their community and gain a deeper understanding of the social issues surrounding them. In this video, we showcase the board, its mission, and the experiences of the students who’ve joined it.
