I am a Minneapolis-based videographer who does editing. I am in production because I love capturing, replicating, and amplifying the feelings and meaning associated with real-life stories. When creating a video, I get to take the most impactful, exciting parts of a subject and weave them into something that can be shared and enjoyed over and over. My favorite part of production is the end stage of polishing the final video and sharing it with the client. They saw the beginning stage when it was just a mountain of footage, and now they get to see how cool it turned out.

Working with SPOKE612 is a joy. Not only do I admire their work, but I appreciate how well they treat the creatives they collaborate with. They care about having a good final product AND a good experience creating it.

As a kid, I used to create weird movies with my friends and edit them in iMovie on the family computer. Making videos of anything I found interesting became a hobby for me. Eventually, I realized I could get paid to do the thing I was already doing for fun!

If it's the talent's first time being on camera, I love seeing their reaction to the slate. They get so excited because it reminds them of films and things they've seen on TV, and they feel "official." There's usually a moment of pure excitement and amusement... It's pretty fun!
